Clenbuterol & Anabolism
It has long been said that Clenbuterol is anabolic, and while this is partly true there is very little evidence that it is anabolic in humans. Many steroid users will often include low doses of Clenbuterol in their Post Cycle Therapy (PCT) in an effort to preserve lean mass, but unfortunately, this is a waste of Clen. This misunderstanding of Clenbuterol first began when a study performed on rats was released. The rats were given large amounts of Clen and the result was a pronounced anabolic effect. However, there has been no study to produce similar results in human beings. It’s not that Clen is catabolic in humans but any translating anabolic activity in human beings is so low it’s meaningless if it even exist at all.
Clenbuterol & Fat Loss
There is no question, Clenbuterol Hydrochloride will help the individual burn fat, but it is not a magical substance. If you supplement with Clen this does not mean you do not have to diet. If you want to lose body fat you must burn more calories than you consume, and this will hold true with or without Clen use. The idea behind Clenbuterol fat loss supplementation is to enhance fat loss; to take what you’re doing right and simply do it a little better. You still have to work and you still have to diet.
In a fat loss plan, Clenbuterol is not well-suited for those who are obese or significantly overweight. This compound can only be used for a specific amount of time due to the body’s ability to adapt. Further, the potential adverse effects could prove problematic in those who are significantly overweight. The best time to use Clenbuterol in a fat loss plan is when you’re already somewhat lean. Many find this thermogenic is useful at the end of a diet in an effort to rid themselves of stubborn body fat that often hangs on for dear life.
As for understanding how Clenbuterol fat loss works, as mentioned it is due to the increase in the body’s core temperature provided by the compound. This results in an enhanced metabolism, which causes fat cells to be stimulated, the breakdown of triglycerides is enhanced and fat loss is at hand. Again, Clenbuterol is an extremely simple compound but highly effective. We cannot call it the most effective fat burner of all time, but of those that are more effective they are generally far more dangerous.
Side Effects of Clenbuterol
The side effects of Clenbuterol can be strong, and they can be more than some people can take. Most all who supplement will have to contend with stimulant effects; after all, Clenbuterol is a stimulant. These effects can be very bothersome and quite annoying and often include a wired or jittery feeling, shaky hands and increased sweating. Fortunately, these effects normally subside and become manageable after a few days of use as the body adapts. Unfortunately, some will not adapt well and must discontinue use.
While less common than the above effects, the side effects of Clenbuterol can also include headaches, nausea and insomnia with insomnia being the most common. For this reason, most will want to take their Clenbuterol first thing in the morning. However, this won’t work for all people as the compound carries an active half-life that extends past thirty hours. Some may also experience muscle cramps due to the compound’s ability to deplete taurine. Staying well hydrated and maintaining proper electrolyte balance will often remedy the problem, but some will need to supplement with taurine.
The final possible side effects of Clenbuterol represent the most severe and are typically associated with abuse. Abuse will normally be defined by extremely high doses and/or periods of use that far extend past recommended time frames. Severe side effects of Clenbuterol Hydrochloride can include panic, rapid heartbeat, trembling and high blood pressure. Studies have also shown that Clenbuterol abuse may also lead to cardiac hypertrophy, which can be fatal. The severe side effects of Clenbuterol can easily be avoided, but it will require responsible use.
Clenbuterol & Adaptation
The body adapts to Clenbuterol quickly, and for this reason use can only last for so long if benefits are to be enjoyed. However, the adaption rate of Clen is not as fast as many tend to assume. It is often said that the body has adapted to Clen when the stimulating effects cannot be felt, which can easily occur in a few days. Most will find the stimulating effects greatly subside after approximately one week of use. However, this does not mean the metabolism is no longer enhanced; in fact, the same Clenbuterol dose can keep the metabolism enhanced for as long as five weeks. At the five week mark the enhancement will be minimal and dosing adjustments must be made, but this shows us the enhancement last much longer than many tend to believe. The best way to judge the effectiveness of your Clen is by regularly checking your body temperature.
Clenbuterol Doses
For breathing treatment, standard Clenbuterol doses will normally be 20-40mcg per day. Some may require higher doses, but higher doses are generally only needed for a short period of time. If a 40mcg per day dose does not remedy the problem other treatment plans will need to be examined.
For the purpose of fat loss, Clenbuterol doses will normally start at 40mcg per day for men and 20mcg per day for women. As the body will eventually adapt to the compound adjustments must be made and there are several schools of thought on this process. However, there are three methods of use that have proven to be the most beneficial. The three methods are unique, one is not like the other and you may have to try all three at separate times to find which works best for you.
One of the most common ways of use is two weeks on followed by two weeks off and repeating until the diets end. Starting with 20-40mcg per day, the individual will increase the dose 20mcg per day every few days as needed until the maximum needed or desired dose is reached. The maximum dose will be held until the end of the two week period and then use discontinued for two weeks. Once the two week break is reached the process will begin again.
The second option is continuous use but due to adaption this type of use is very hard for many to understand. The individual will begin with a 20-40mcg per day dose, hold at that dose for 2-3 weeks and increase the dose by 20mcg every 2-3 weeks as needed. This will continue until the maximum dose or time frame of use is reached. The benefit of this type of use is there is no period in time when Clenbuterol isn’t present; your metabolism is enhanced the entire time. If this type of use is undertaken, the individual should wait several months before beginning Clenbuterol use again.
The final method of use is a bit of a hybrid of the other two methods. This plan will normally call for 4-6 weeks of continuous Clenbuterol use and is perfect for the individual who is only using the compound the final weeks of a diet. The individual will start with 20-40mcg per day and increase periodically until the maximum desired or needed dose is reached and then hold at that dose for 7-14 days. If this type of plan is implemented, the individual will need to wait 4-6 weeks before Clenbuterol use is undertaken again.
Regardless of the plan you follow, maximum Clenbuterol doses will be 120-140mcg per day with 120mcg per day being more than enough for most people. No one should surpass 140mcg per day for any reason if cardiac damage is to be avoided. As for total use, the safest protocol is no more than 16 weeks of total Clenbuterol use per year. For the competitive athlete we can make slight exceptions, but keeping it as close to this mark as possible will be the safest approach.
